Tiyatro, kültürel kimliğiyle ön plana çıkan Didim'in doğal güzelliklerine ek olarak antik yerleşim yerlerine olan yakınlığıyla da turizm açısından önemli bir noktada konumlanıyor. Milet antik kenti, proje alanından 20 km mesafede yer alıyor. Didim'in batısındaki Apollon Tapınağı, kentin girişinde yer alarak Milet'e kutsal bir yol ile bağlanıyor.

Tasarım alanı, kent merkezinin güneyindeki Altınkum Plajı'na 1,5 km mesafede bulunuyor. Aytepe Caddesi'nin oluşturduğu yamaçlı alanda, amfi tiyatro parselin formuna uygun bir şekilde genişlerken, daralan bölgelerde otopark ve sosyal tesisler yer alıyor. Sosyal tesis bloğu, yol kotunun altına konumlandırılıyor ve çatısı park alanı olarak kullanılıyor.

Sanatçı kulisleri, prova salonları ve ıslak hacimler, amfi tiyatronun altında kalıyor ve gerekli noktalarda sosyal tesislerle bağlantı sağlanıyor. Aytepe Caddesi'nden bakıldığında, sadece amfi tiyatro girişlerini belirginleştiren dikey elemanlar görülüyor ve diğer yapı elemanları alt kottaki alanlarda bulunuyor. Bu noktada deniz manzarası ve kıyıdaki rüzgarın kente girmesi engellenmeyerek estetik bir bütünlük amaçlanıyor.

In addition to the natural beauties of Didim, which stands out with its cultural identity, the theatre is located at an important point in terms of tourism with its proximity to ancient settlements. The ancient city of Miletus is located 20 km from the project area. The Temple of Apollo in the west of Didim is located at the entrance of the city and connected to Miletus by a sacred road.

The design area is located 1.5 km from Altınkum Beach in the south of the city centre. In the sloping area formed by Aytepe Street, the amphitheatre expands in accordance with the form of the parcel, while parking and social facilities are located in the narrowed areas. The social facility block is located below the road level and its roof is used as a parking area.

Artist backstages, rehearsal halls and wet areas are located below the amphitheatre and connected to the social facilities where necessary. When viewed from Aytepe Street, only the vertical elements that mark the entrances to the amphitheatre are visible and the other building elements are located in the lower level areas. At this point, an aesthetic integrity is aimed by not preventing the sea view and coastal wind from entering the city.
